Guidelines

Corporate Identity

To create a unified identity for all departments of the house. The main goal is to develop a modern and vibrant corporate style that will look great in a noisy visual environment, attract a young audience, increase brand recognition and museum attendance.

Request

Lack of a clearly defined brand foundation: brand character, target audience, attributes, and values were not defined.

Client decisions on the project were made collegially and it was necessary to take into account comments from five different departments.

Limited budgets for material production.

Subordination to the Department of Culture of the City of Moscow required the inclusion of their logo on all official carriers.

Need to attract a broad audience, including youth.

Brand recognition problem: the website and social media have the name 'House of Russian Emigration', while visitors often search for them as 'Museum', which caused difficulties in promotion.

It was necessary to preserve the full name 'House of Russian Emigration named after Alexander Solzhenitsyn' in the logo.

Problem

Solution

We created a vibrant and lively identity aimed at a broad audience, including youth.

(1)

Developed a logo in which the sign includes three arches of a bridge, symbolizing the connection between Russia and the Russian emigration.

(2)
museum branding

The identity of the House is divided into business and image identity using different color solutions, which allows easily adapting the style to different media and audiences.

(3)

For business documentation, corporate media were developed with minimal use of graphics and colors, which allowed reducing the costs of implementation and avoiding visual noise.

(4)
museum branding

Image media were developed using the logo as an identification unit, and its elements can be used as backgrounds or containers for photographs.

(5)

The updated corporate style helped the House of the Russian Emigration strengthen its presence in the cultural environment, making it more recognizable and attractive to a wide audience. The developed identity simplified interaction with visitors and improved the perception of the House as a modern and dynamic institution.
